Tea Lovers Festival

by Cassandra Vincent

One of my favourite things about tea is that it brings people together. Tea Lovers Festival creator Kulov  said that bringing people together was his motivation for this 10 years strong festival. In the past the festival would have events spread over an entire month. This year it was concentrated into a long weekend of festive tea consumption which included a tea party planning workshop, screening of a tea documentary, tea and dessert pairing experience and concluded with a tea marketplace and regional tastings. The short video above gives a glimpse into the vendors and family friendly atmosphere of this fest. I participated in one of the tastings which I will address in a separate post, along with trying some new products which I will share will you all shortly.  As is becoming very popular at events, Kulov brought in a photo booth service complete with sparkly background and Alice in Wonderland inspired hats and wigs. Yes. We participated. The evidence is below.  Tea is a fun rabbit hole after all - go ahead and tumble on down ;)
