Discovering tea is like going down the rabbit hole - a virtually endless discovery. I believe it enhances the experience of life and the relationships that make it sing. Here I share my experiences in all things tea from the quick and fun to the in-depth geeky stuff. It is a bigger subject than you might think: the myriad of ways the beverage is made and enjoyed, it’s affect on history, tea in design, tea and TV, tea events, unique tea uses and sitting down with music pros to have a chat over tea.
There are also wonderful guest bloggers from the tea industry who stop by to share their wisdom and experience creating more threads of interest to follow. There are topics and series as well, as in the Tea and Music series and Tea and Art - topics in the bottom list of the blog that will bring up posts that combine tea with my wheelhouse of entertainment and art.
It’s called Tea Deviant for a reason – I don’t hold to any limitations on how anyone enjoys their tea. I’m not here to tell you what to do but to share and curate solid info that you can choose from to enhance your experience and share some really fun (possibly bizarre) times along the way. Fair warning: I believe in creating a positive and fun site, however, I do not believe in censoring from an artistic standpoint so you may find in a post or interview a swear word or a work of art that celebrates the human form.

Opinions and observations on the blog are my own. I have some guest writers and their contributions are clearly labeled. On occasion I will be given a product to try but I have no obligation to review it and I will indicate if a company has reached out to me for my opinion if I do. Affiliate and sponsored posts are indicated.
